Abstract
As exchanges around the world look to merge and consolidate, the structure of the overall global equities marketplace continues to be flawed for institutional investors. But there is a new structure emerging that provides for institutions to trade among themselves in a safe and efficient institutional venue alongside the retail market, without the information leakage and competing interests generally found when executing directly on exchanges.
