AB  - This article describes our experience in turning around the European operations of a bankrupt U.S. parent company. The takeaway from this experience is that turnarounds in Europe are different, but in subtle ways. While they don't require fundamentally different approaches, they do require a different style and a lot of tact. If you prepare for them properly, you should achieve success. Conversely, failure to navigate the subtle differences could undermine the process.
