Until now, the European Commission and various interest groups have not found a solution to the various problems that exist in developing a common EU regulatory framework. This article discusses how the PEPP could ideally be regulated. It discusses the PEPP and Personal Pension Products (PPP), examines how PEPPs as a ‘wrapper product’ should be defined, and evaluates how a PEPP passport could be established under future PEPP Regulations.
